Not Some Kid

I’m gonna switch it up a little here to another one of my favorite genres, punk/alternative (depending on how you interpret these guys). Officially dropped yesterday, “Misadventures” is the second full length album to be released by the Rochester, NY natives. I’ve been a huge fan of Such Gold since they released their first EP back in 2009, and 2 albums later I couldn’t be any more excited about how far they have come from their starting point as an unknown basement band. Such Gold combines harsh vocals with pleasing melodies as well as any band I know, and the instrumentals are just as strong. I strongly recommend these guys to any punk rock fans, or anybody in general who is looking for something a little edgier. I know it’s different, but give it a try!
