Let me introduce you to Ireland’s hidden golden boy. Owsey (pronounced O-Zee) is a 20 year old, born and raised in the north, and his music is some of the most emotive and pioneering in the field of dubstep.
I’m going to invent a new genre for the sake of Owsey’s music, Indie Dubstep. Because in effect, that’s what this really is.
Stunningly ambient, and completely consuming, Owsey’s newest track is named ‘Her Sorrows, His Smile.’ Not released yet for download, but out yesterday, this is possibly one of the most unique songs I have ever heard, with some stunning vocal sections, and a really chilled and emotive vibe.
