Our boys over at Ridgewood Social Club just dropped this new 4-track mixtape. Here’s what Ben (1/2 of the duo) had to say about the journey RSC has been on,
“Crazy to think that we started all this almost a year ago, especially now that we’ve been able to see our growth as DJs, as producers, but most importantly as a duo, in the gigs we book, the DJs we spin with, and the various projects we’ve each begun working on both as a group and as solo producers.
Zach’s been hard at work on his first moombahton EP under the Basscamp moniker, while I’ve been working with several producers, DJs, rappers, singers, and bands as an A&R director of sorts for what will soon become our very own record label! At the same time, I’ve had the opportunity of getting to know the infamous Bootie-backed DJ Lobsterdust quite well over the past few months, which has really helped both Zach and I to determine the long-term direction and goals of our mashup duo. And it’s exactly with that thought in mind that I will be flying out to Tel Aviv with DJ Lobsterdust next week and making a big move to Tel Aviv for the next year, where I’ll have the opportunity to take the RSC project global, while Zach holds down the RSC fort stateside as we continue to evolve as a group.”
